San Minn
born 1951, Myanmar

San Minn born 1951, Myanmar, majored in Botany at Rangoon Art & Science University. He started painting under several eminent painters there, including U Nann Waii on weekends. He was a founder of the Gangaw Village artists group in 1979, exhibited commemoratively by Fukuoka Asian Art Museum, 2012.

His work Age of Full Bloom (1979) is exhibited at Between Declarations and Dreams: Art of Southeast Asia since the 19th Century, UOB Southeast Asia Gallery Permanent Exhibition, National Gallery, Singapore.

 

He has been involved in more than 100 exhibitions, oftentimes as organizer. His work has been exhibited at internationally since 1996.
